Technion – Israel Institute of Technology is a world leading university in engineering and life science. It has a faculty of 600 scientists including 3 Nobel Laureates over the last 10 years (Prof. Aaron Ciechanover and Prof. Avram Hershko, Chemistry, 2004 and Prof. Dan Shechtman, Chemistry, 2011). In 2011 Technoin established with Cornell the Jacobs-Cornell Innovation Institute in New York that awards Technion-Cornell graduate degrees in selected fields.
The Technion is launching a new university in China to be called the Technion-Guangdong Institute of Technology – an English teaching, top research university granting Technion engineering degrees at all levels – Bachelor, Masters and PhD.
The university is built in cooperation with the University of Shantou (STU) and with the support of the Li KaShing Foundation.
We are looking for excellent candidates in the following fields:
• Chemical Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Civil Engineering
We aim to recruit strong Post-Docs Fellows and Faculty to spend research periods at the Technion in Israel and with successful completion may be offered tenure-track positions in the China Campus.
Competitive Post-Doc Fellowships and competitive salary and benefits, startup packages, and opportunities for substantial research funding will be provided to faculty appointed to Technion-Guangdong. It is a great career opportunity for the Chinese nationals who intend to return to China after their academic pursue in the USA.
