Speaker bios:

Bryan D. Belton, CFA

Director of Multi Assets, PanAgora Asset Management

Mr. Belton is a Director within the Multi Asset group, and a member of the firm’s Directors and Operating Committees. Mr. Belton is responsible for research as well as the daily management of the firm’s Risk Parity, global fixed income, currency, and commodity portfolios. Prior to joining PanAgora, Mr. Belton was the Investment Portfolio Officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston. In that role, he was responsible for actively managing and hedging all of the Bank’s long-term investment portfolios. Before joining the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, Mr. Belton was a Senior Manager at Investors Bank & Trust Company. Mr. Beltonc graduated from Northeastern University with an M.S.F. Mr. Belton is a CFA charterholder.

William E. Jacques, CFA is a Partner, Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, and a member of the Management Committee. Bill heads the Investment Team, overseeing portfolio management, investment research and trading. Prior to founding the firm, Bill was a Trustee and Vice President of Batterymarch Financial Management, where he was involved in quantitative research and portfolio management as an investment strategist. Before joining Batterymarch, he was a Vice President of JPMorgan Asset Management where he began his career as a research analyst in 1976. Bill earned an M.B.A. in finance at the Wharton School. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.


Vladimir Zdorovtsov, Ph.D.

Managing Director, Director of Quantitative Equity Research, State Street Global Advisor


Vladimir is a Managing Director of SSgA and the Director of Quantitative Equity Research. Previously, he headed up the Research Innovations team and was also responsible for the Active European, Emerging Markets, and Enhanced Equities research teams, led the Advanced Research Center in London, the Absolute Return Strategies, and the Portfolio Construction and Transaction Cost Analysis research groups. Prior to joiningSSgA in 2004, Vladimir worked as a Senior Economist at Law and Economics Consulting Group, and as Director of Trading at Short Term Capital Management LLC, which he co-founded. Vladimir earned a PhD in Finance from the University of South Carolina and is a member of SSgA's Senior Leadership Team and its Technical Committee.



Kun Yang, Ph.D., CFA

Portfolio Manager, PanAgora Asset Management

Dr. Yang is a Portfolio Manager within the Multi Asset group. Dr. Yang is responsible for quantitative model research and portfolio management for PanAgora’s Multi Assets’ strategies covering global equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities. Dr. Yang joined PanAgora from Vanderbilt University where he earned a PhD in Economics. His research has been published in several economics and financial journals. Dr. Yang is a CFA charterholder.

The Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) is a government registered non-profit organization aimed at facilitating the exchange of ideas, knowledge and information on education, research and practice in finance and related areas between the US and China. TCFA seeks to bring together the collective wisdom and expertise of scholars and professionals active in the field of finance in an effort to help the development of capital markets in China.
