Functional Safety Manager

Job Description

Functional Safety Manager will help to implement the safety culture in our organization and will actively guide the engineering teams to ensure that relevant functional safety standards are achieved and maintained within the product development process.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Functional Safety Lead and drive the development of ISO26262 compliance within the development process
  • Perform safety management activities according to relevant standards during all project phases (concept, product development, production)
  • Develop safety architectures and safety plans to ensure compliance
  • Lead and coordinate creation of functional safety documentation according to ISO 26262
  • Conduct reviews with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles

Position Requirements

  • 5 years relevant work experience in product development (ideally in automotive safety related products)
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with ISO 26262
  • Knowledge of Requirements Management tools
  • Knowledge of Safety analysis activities such as FTA, FMEA, FMEDA, HARA, etc.
  • Experience in Software Quality and process ( e.g., SPICE, CMMI )
  • Proven record of taking customer requirements from design to production
  • Experience in Functional Safety Assessment as per ISO 26262 process
  • Capable of leading and managing a functional safety team
  • General knowledge of automotive embedded systems, hardware, and software
  • Minimum BS degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. EE, ME, CS)

 

Hardware Engineer

Job Description

Hardware Engineer will be a key contributor in our Automotive Battery Management System (BMS) development team with the responsibility to develop innovative electronics for next generation of electric vehicle products.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop next-gen hardware for BMS
  • Design and evaluate electrical systems, electronic circuit boards, components, and applications, including schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout
  • Follow full life-cycle of product development process
  • Assure product quality by performing worst-case circuit analyses, as well as designing testing methods and testing the components, circuits, and complete PCBs
  • Lead the integration of hardware and software by working closely with software engineer in the team
  • Ensure product robustness and reliability and support efforts to verify supplier quality.

Position Requirements

  • MS /BS degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. EE, ME, CS)
  • 2+ years of electrical engineering or relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with schematic circuit simulation / PCB layout
  • Excellent design skills in analog, digital, and power electronics, including noise issues, power handling on PC boards, and isolation
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI design practices and the relevant validation testing
  • Familiarity with power semiconductors, microprocessors, DC-DC power supplies, and communication circuits
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience in Automobile industry/electronics is a plus

 

Marketing Specialist

Job Description

Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders about our product features and their benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Create product content (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts, Quora/forum responses) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world.
  • Assist members of our sales team on calls with prospects when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product.
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage.

 

Mechanical Engineer Automotive Industry BMS

Job Description

Mechanical Engineer will be a key contributor in our automotive battery system development team with the responsibility to develop innovative products for next generation of electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Design and development of battery system solutions
  • Lead the mechanical integration of cells, electromechanical components & hardware
  • Thermal and mechanical modeling. Bench and system validation
  • Design, fabrication, and testing of prototypes and concepts
  • Ensure product robustness and reliability and support efforts to verify supplier quality
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team to transition products to production
  • Drive the creation of component specifications, verification plans, and other technical design documents

Position Requirements

  • MS /BS degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. EE, ME, CS)
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive component design
  • Proficiency in design and 3D CAD experience
  • Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes and/or automation is highly desirable
  • Experience with full life-cycle of product development process
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with HV Battery systems highly desirable

 

R&D Technician

Job Description

R&D Technician will be a key contributor in our automotive Battery Management System (BMS) development team with the responsibility to support the engineering team in development of innovative electronics for next generation of electric vehicle products.

Responsibilities

  • Support automotive electronics development with builds, prototyping and debugging
  • Support with test equipment development and builds
  • Build and repair wire harnesses, cables, and test fixtures
  • Assist with engineering validation and test setups
  • Troubleshooting and repair prototype samples    
  • Maintain the lab, electronic parts, and tools

Position Requirements

  • Strong understanding of engineering and reliability fundamentals
  • Great soldering and electronics fabrication skills

Sr. Software Engineer Automotive Battery Team (EV)

Job Description

Sr. Software Engineer will be a key contributor in our automotive Battery Management System (BMS) development team with the responsibility to develop embedded code & algorithms for next generation of electric vehicle products.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement embedded software for next generation of automotive products
  • Perform requirement analysis and implement resulting solutions
  • Create and execute test plans, test scripts, and test automation
  • Design and develop algorithms to perfect system performance

Position Requirements

  • 5 years relevant work experience in product development (ideally in automotive)
  • Experience in AutoSAR, battery algorithm development, battery management system (BMS) preferred.
  • Programming language fluency in C/C++
  • Functional Safety Experience a plus
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink a plus
  • Familiar with embedded microprocessor software development process
  • Capable of hands-on design, debug and code optimization.
